I wanted to provide a few feedback points on the three-day session with Innolect. BLUF: it was a phenomenal three days; admittedly, there is a little skepticism going into these type of events, but having seen this executed with True Growth, Kansas Univ. and a few others; Innolect does a tremendous job. The key focus areas of Transforming Self, Others and Impacting your organization was well balanced with the practical events used to facilitate over the course of the event; golf, equine and coaching were superb. There were a great deal of takeaways that can be immediately applied from the overall perspective: “Zoom” (zooming in our out), Leadership Maturity Profiles (MAP) which helps leaders understand their stage of adult development, listening skills and connecting with others in order to better influence. This will pay huge dividends over time (in my opinion) given the current course to extend to civilians and CSMs. Key is understanding Transformation (changing something or someone to the point “it can’t be walked back”) and how to walk that path in terms of self, others and an organization was one of my biggest takeaways.

The opportunity to think and reflect, as well as gain additional self-awareness skills and insights, proved extremely valuable to all. Hats off to the entire Innolect team for their professionalism, and to the G5 staff for planning and executing the event. I truly believe the Civilian Staff and the CSMs are going to benefit from the training in the coming months, and hopefully this becomes an annual event for the leadership. By far one of the most useful events I have participated in with regard to leadership development.

This was by far the best company meeting I have ever been to.  What I liked best was NOT having planted questions!  Doing it with table members collaborating produced good questions without the spotlight turned on anyone. It kept it genuine. With our usual style of meeting (officials telling employees) I recognize that we often felt the need to prime the pump, but that produces a certain cynicism about whether all the questions are planted… and designed to elicit a certain answer….so thank you and the team for not going down that old, rutted road.  Outstanding job, well done.
