David Keating, an Executive Leadership Coach with Innolect Inc., has extensive business experience in the practical realities that shape the environments in which we work. David refined his coaching abilities over 35 years of firsthand work in corporate America across many industries and roles, from manufacturing to consulting to financial services, as well as government and non-profits. His executive coaching clients are diverse in personal background and industry including aerospace and defense, manufacturing, high tech, social media, consulting, professional services, broadcast media, entertainment, transportation, healthcare, energy, financial services, and the US federal government. Regarding client level, David coaches C-Suite executives, C-1, VP+, Director+ and first-time managers. Prior to becoming a full-time executive coach, David was part of an elite team responsible for developing, negotiating, and closing more than $10 billion in assets for a Top-10 US bank.
David holds an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School, an Executive Certificate in Leadership Coaching from Georgetown University, and a B.S. in Finance from the University of Maryland, summa cum laude. David also holds the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential from the International Coaching Federation. Despite these credentials you will not hear “Ivory Tower” psychobabble during your conversations. If it works in the real world, then David offers it.
David leverages a wide range of assessment tools. These include Hogan, Vertical Development / Adult Stages of Learning, MBTI, DiSC, the work of James Kouzes and Barry Posner, and others. Several clients have requested that David write a series of books on his practical guidance, however he is having too much fun working with clients to take the time to write it all down!
David resides in Richmond, VA with his wife and three children. He is a person of faith, guiding and supporting charitable projects at home and abroad, with his heart’s favorite project having been the construction of the New Hope Children’s Home in Orissa, India
