Melonie Stewart, Senior Consultant with Innolect, has over 25 years of corporate leadership experience, leading large geographically dispersed organizations through significant change management efforts. She has the unique ability to design strategies to steadily improve organizational culture while increasing both customer and employee engagement for business outcomes. She is gifted at developing and expanding future leadership capabilities, and building collaborative management teams to successfully adapt to ever-increasing complexity and necessary change.
Melonie most recently served as Vice President, Customer Service, and Vice President, Operations, at a publicly-traded Fortune 200 utility company. An expert in operations and customer experience strategy and implementation, she led the planning, delivery, change management and measurement of successful customer initiatives across multiple organizations.
In her work with clients, Melonie takes a systems view of the customer journey. As a client partner, she helps guide the successful design, supporting policies and the process for building advocacy for the change. She helps identify the necessary talent, tools and investments required in areas such as technology, data analytics and culture change.
With practical, in-depth experience of the challenges leaders and managers face each day, Melonie helps all levels of management apply the leadership and development concepts to their specific organization to make meaningful lasting positive change. Using a track-record of success, she partners to assess, develop and retain future leaders especially women and people of color.
As a continuous learning leader, Melonie knows first-hand that development is an on-going process. She helps leaders pro-actively and intentionally build new capabilities. And equally as important, she helps them identify and leverage the strengths of their team, and improve team dynamics to deliver exceptional results, while having fun and celebrating success along the way.
Melonie holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from Tulane University and an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering. She has completed executive leadership training with the Center for Creative Leadership and the Executive Leadership Institute. Committed to giving back, Melonie has served on the boards of Boys Town, Jefferson Chamber of Commerce, Jefferson Business Council, and GNO, Inc. She is currently a member of the Rotary Club and sponsors the local high school rotary organization, Interact, where she mentors future leaders.
