Senior Consultant
Ken Huff, a senior consultant with Innolect Inc., specializes in working with leaders, teams and organizations to achieve Supplier Diversity excellence. For 12 years, he provided strategic leadership to institute metrics and achieve results for corporate diverse and small business supplier utilization. Ken has managed supplier diversity recruitment, goal-setting, Federal small business compliance and regulatory reporting activities. During his Southern Company career, his expertise helped to build an award-winning supplier development program throughout the company’s subsidiaries.
Working with clients to build programs and achieve performance goals, his extensive financial and operational experience provides a platform for understanding how to engage key stakeholders within supply chain, finance and accounting, customer operations and external affairs. Working within communities, he partners to navigate critical relationships with government agencies, nonprofits and other corporations to address community development needs and opportunities.
During the past 20 years, Ken has demonstrated his commitment to the development and success of diverse and small business suppliers and local communities. Under his leadership, he has supported and implemented programs with missions to help minority-, women- and veteran-owned businesses. In addition to securing corporate sponsorship and strategic partnerships to benefit diverse suppliers, he has served in numerous Chamber of Commerce and Development Authority leadership roles. As the former Board Chair of The Edge Connection, he helped to empower and develop micro-entrepreneurs using a holistic approach.
A national business leader in Supplier Diversity, he served as Georgia Minority Supplier Development Council Board Chair and GMSDC Education Foundation Board Chair. He was also a member of NMSDC’s expanded leadership team. Ken continues to serve on GMSDC’s Education Foundation board. His leadership and impact have been recognized by diverse supplier advocacy organizations with GMSDC’s President’s Award, Atlanta Tribune’s Diversity Hall of Fame, U.S. Small Business Association’s (SBA) Small Business Champion of the Year (Georgia), as well as the Greater Women’s Business Council’s (WBENC) Corporation of the Year Award on numerous occasions.
Ken holds an Executive MBA from Auburn University and a BA in Accounting from the University of West Florida (magna cum laude). A native of Pensacola, FL, Ken is the proud father of one daughter, Chris-ti-Ana. He enjoys fishing, golfing, and riding his 1832cc GoldWing motorcycle.
